David A. Snyder
Mr. Snyder has more than thirty-five years’ experience in insurance claims and structured settlement fields. During his fourteen year claims adjusting career, he served as Claims Manager for Aetna Cravens-Dargan and Cal-Union Insurance companies, managing primary and excess claims. Mr. Snyder has been a full time settlement annuity broker for more than twenty-five years representing over twenty life insurance and settlement bond companies. He has personally handled or supervised over 5,000 structured settlements for multiple casualty insurance, self-insured defendants and plaintiff clients.
He received Associate Degrees in Political Science and Industrial Supervision from Pasadena City College and attended California State University at Los Angeles, where he majored in Business and Insurance. Mr. Snyder earned his I.I.A. and Associate in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America and instructed advance I.I.A. Claims courses for seven years.
Mr. Snyder has been a guest lecturer for several claims organizations, the American Trial Lawyers College of Advocacy and the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section on the subject of structured settlements. He has published several articles on structured settlements, and damages in “Claims” and Risk Management journals. Mr. Snyder is past President of the San Gabriel Claims Association, and one of the founders of the Greater Los Angeles Joint Adjusters Association. Mr. Snyder is past President of the Laguna Niguel National Little League and served on the Board of Directors of the Mission San Juan Capistrano Restoration Committee. Mr. Snyder is a charter member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association and The Society of Settlement Planners.
Dorothy A. Snyder
Dorothy Snyder’s twenty plus years’ experience in personal lines insurance claims and structured settlements was the basis of the Delta Group of Settlement Companies’ administration department. She worked as a multi lines Claims Manager for Allstate Insurance Company and joined the structured settlement industry in 1983. Since then, she and her staff were responsible for the processing of thousands of structured settlements, both pre-sale and post-settlement for the entire Delta Group of Settlement Companies.
Dorothy earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with a double major of History and English, as well as her teaching credentials, from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has taken various liability claims courses from the Insurance Institute of America, and continues to expand her knowledge with various continuing education courses to maintain her California Life Agent license.
Dorothy is active in community activities and charities. She maintains an active family life with her husband, five children their spouses and the ever growing number of grand children.
