Steve Lester is a financial planner with the Delta team in Dothan, Alabama. After attending the University of Alabama he served ten years as operations and general manager for a manufacturing concern. In 1990 he took this understanding of business owner’s needs and objectives into the financial services business. The better portion of the last decade he has worked as a professional finance and settlement planner advising attorneys and their clients receiving large proceeds from legal settlements. His case experience includes the Monsanto Toxic Tort settlement in Alabama which at the time was the largest settlement of its kind the country as well as numerous single claimant settlements..
Steve was also chosen to mentor more than fifty Certified Financial Planners nationally in settlement planning; advising them in evaluations and solutions as well as maneuvering the legal issue associated with these cases. Steve supports and attends numerous State and National Trial Attorney Conferences annually. Through these experiences he offers unique perspective and qualities to his clients and attorneys in developing plans to protect, grow and sustain their settlement dollars into the future.
