Shelly served over 10 years as Director of Operations for one of the largest structured settlement firms in the country. Shelly’s experience assisting clients with financial settlements range from handling small personal injury claims to large class action suits.
In 2002, Shelly was nominated and recognized as a founding associate member of the Society of Settlement Planners (SSP). The SSP was established to assist injury victims, claimants and attorneys in resolving their legal financial claims, and to advocate the injury victim’s right to choose settlement planning advisors and financial and guaranteed products.
In 2003, Shelly joined John Hancock Structured Settlements as a Sales Executive and continued efforts in marketing the tax free structured settlement product, as well as the tax deferred option to structure the attorney’s fees.
Shelly remains committed to furthering education and representing the best interests of the injured party. Shelly has been a guest lecturer for many different associations in Iowa and welcomes the opportunity to speak about structured settlements in any forum.
