John first joined Delta in 2004 and today brings to Delta Settlements almost 30 years of experience in banking, insurance and trust as a past First Vice President with Morgan Stanley.
Expertise
Case work has included complex general tort liability and medical malpractice litigation in New York State where periodic payment statues apply (CPLR Articles 50A and 50B) to multi defendant and plaintiff litigation in California. John has attended mediation and structured settlements in over 36 states involving settlements totaling over $300 Million dollars.
John brings the experience and the education to design a settlement to fit a specific trust in order to preserve the client’s entitlements.
As a leading industry professional and expert, many cases have included similar injuries in different states frequently involving the same property and casualty carriers. This body of work presents a familiar understanding of settlement offers and how they may differ from state to state.
License and Certification
Mr. Bat has received the distinguished Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation through the NSSTA program developed in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame Medoza College of Business Executive Education Program and also certifications received from Morgan Stanley for Investment Management Consulting Services (IMCS) and Retirement Planning.
