Daniel Alvarez, Esq.

Daniel J. Alvarez is a valued member of the Delta team in Tampa, Florida. He works nationally specializing in advising clients in areas including financial, complex financial planning and public benefits preservation. Mr. Alvarez is also a founding partner of the Structured Sales Group, where he specializes in tax deferral planning in the purchase and sale of investment real estate and small to medium sized businesses. Mr. Alvarez was a featured speaker in the Stetson College of Law Special Needs Trust Seminar IX and has authored numerous articles on financial planning associated with legal recoveries.

In addition, Mr. Alvarez has professional affiliations with the AAJ, Florida Justice Association – Young Lawyer Section Board Member, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Society of Settlement Planners, Round Table Group’s Expert Network and the American Bar Association.

He graduated from Florida State University in 1997. He went on to Florida State College of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2000. He began work as an Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County where he tried over sixty jury trials. After three years as a prosecutor, he worked as a trial lawyer at Wilkes & McHugh in Tampa. During this time, he garnered extensive experience in the mediation and settlement planning of complex, high-value cases.
