Rick Miller has been a
successful broker in the Insurance and Structured Settlement marketplace for
over thirty-five years, and he has created two very successful national
Structured Settlement programs. Rick has professional sales and management
experience in the areas of multi-line insurance, financial services, and
corporate and personal financial planning. Rick travels nationally as a
mediator working closely with judges, attorneys and claims handlers in pretrial
and settlement conferences, and he has served as a guest speaker for lawyers and
professional claims associations on the topics of Structured Settlements,
negotiations and investments. Rick also serves as an expert witness and is an
original member of the National Structured Trade Association
Rick enjoys and understands the
unique specialties involved in the Structured Settlement industry. He has
developed successful relationships with Property and Casualty Companies, Defense
and Personal Injury attorneys, risk managers, financial planners and trust
officers. His focus is on serious personal injury claims including medical
malpractice product’s liability and workers' compensation claims. He also has
an extensive background in the area of environmental claims, employment
litigation and Settlement Trusts.
Rick is familiar with all areas of
structured settlements and can provide complete documentation for a client
including Release and Settlement Agreements, Uniform Qualified Assignments,
Workers Compensation Addendums, Reinsurance Agreements, Medical, Special Needs
and Settlement Preservation Trusts. Rick prepares customized and creative
quotes and proposals and can provide expertise on present value analysis, life
care plans, taxable equivalent comparison and sub-standard medical underwriting.
